At MIDRU, our broad range of services have a very wide range of applications – indeed, we might never play quite the same role twice. We are a facilitator, allowing innovative healthcare professionals to create exciting new products and services which can increase the quality of patient care. Innovation is key to achieving the best possible care for all our patients, and MIDRU believes passionately that to provide a bespoke package of finely tailored services is the best way to provide each and every one of our projects with the best possible chance at life.

MIDRU projects are about innovating towards ever higher quality of care. From our support for CAAMIC, an innovative co-operative organisation which provides a system for SMEs to test product ideas against healthcare criteria, to our strong involvement in the future West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) and other pipeline European funded activity, our projects look to the future. The WM-AHSN is an exciting region wide new development which will bring partnership between academia, the NHS and industry to focus on delivering solutions to the greatest healthcare challenges in our local population.
